As we gear up into the October Halloween season, we’ve got some Spooky ghost stories for you.
As we’ve shared before, some of Spooky Things Online’s most popular posts have been regarding the TV show “Celebrity Ghost Stories.”
We liked the show lot, which ran from 2009 to 2014, not because of the celebrity aspect alone, but because the show featured four quick-hitting and to-the-point ghost stories in one hour. And they were done in a very compelling Spooky manner.
You might watch these with the lights off, and a candle on. While death is always sad, these two stories are also uplifting in many ways.
Actress Gail O’Grady is best known for her work on NYPD Blue. She’s had a prolific career and had been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards.
She shares an eerie story regarding a deceased family member who died far too young, but let her know he was watching over her. O’Grady’s story checks all of our boxes for a credible ghost story: She wasn’t in bed and just barely awake, so it wasn’t a dream or dream-like state. Further, there is much more to her story than an initial sighting.
Actor Reginald VelJohnson is best known (at least to me) as LAPD Sgt. Al Powell in Die Hard and Die Hard 2 (I never saw the second one, but how did they work his character in, a cop in LA, for a story line in Washington D.C.?) , and for playing Carl Winslow on the sitcom Family Matters (never saw that either).
VelJohnson too had a very interesting sighting of a former occupant of the condo he owned.

Below are some of our other Celebrity Ghost Story posts that we found especially compelling. Please note we have updated the actual links in the Bernie Kopell, Meshach Taylor, and Charlene Tilton ones. The original links fell inactive, but we found the current ones just for your Spooky viewing pleasure.
Watch, enjoy and contemplate. Then let us know what you think.
