More ghosts on Route 66: Kellen Ryan, the prankster priest

Hello again, spooky friends!  Today’s installment of ghost stories is courtesy of Marie’s other blog, CuriousTraveler66.  It concerns the apparitions of Father Kellen Ryan, a Carmelite priest who taught history at and eventually became dean of Joliet Catholic High School in Joliet, IL, now known as Joliet Catholic Academy and located in a different part of town.  According to his friends and fellow religious, Ryan was a good-natured man with a penchant for practical jokes.  Apparently, some of those jokes continued after his untimely death in a car accident at the age of only 33.  To find out more about the fun-loving young priest, read the story here.
